Considering the growth of the global organic market, the companies who want to expand their presence abroad need to wisely choose specific markets to export their organic certified products.
According to FIBL & IFOAM[1], organic food sales surpassed the 100 billion US dollar mark for the first time in 2018. From the 1990s the global organic food market is now worth 105.5 billion US dollars. Additionally, the projection for the next years respects this positive trend.
The global organic food & beverage market size is expected to reach USD 320.5 billion by 2025, according to a new report by Grand View Research, Inc[3].

Why promoting European organic food in these specific countries
Promoting European organic food is relevant because organic farming and organic certification are important to improve a better relation between agriculture and the environment.
In this sense, developing the conditions for the organic production and export market helps to improve our nutritional habits with a positive impact on the natural environment.
Organicity believes in the importance of organic farming that is connected to the necessity to provide European brands with the possibility to know the market and to connect with importers and other food operators.

Specifically, the project promotes European Organic certified products in the USA, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia.
Organic Trade Organization states that the citizen of the United States spent $52.5 BILLION on organic products in 2018.
In Thailand and Singapore, the organic food market shows rapid growth.
In Thailand, the organic food consumption in 2017 was valued at US$ 15.6 million, and in Singapore: organic food market value in 2016 was € 99.1 million.
In Singapore, the organic food and beverage market is forecasted to reach USD 234.8 million by 2021. Singapore imports more than 90% of its food consumption.
The governments of both Indonesia and Vietnam have recently adopted new measures in favor of organic products. Specifically, in Indonesia a new import regulation for organic products has been approved in 2017, while in Vietnam there is a plan for organic agriculture for the period 2018-2025.
Although the USA remains the first market in the world thanks to its big population and the availability of land and high incomes for the consumers, the countries of the South East Asia area represent the future of the market, especially for the European organic certified products.
